Overview

Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY, is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility specializing in providing rehabilitative services to patients recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. The team helps patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at the highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff get to know patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication.
• Function under physician’s orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy is acceptable; a Master’s Degree is required otherwise.
• NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements.
• Current, valid, and active registration or license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications

• One year of experience preferred, with a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
