Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based role in Mission, Texas. This temporary, part-time opportunity supports students with disabilities by evaluating needs and developing intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and families.

The OT will provide direct and consultative services in various settings, with emphasis on IEP goals and compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and ADA. NBCOT and TX license preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas OT license; NBCOT certification preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides specialized services to support the academic success, independence, and overall well-being of students with disabilities or developmental delays. The OT evaluates students' needs, develops individualized intervention plans, and collaborates with teachers, staff, and families to ensure access to the educational environment in accordance with state and federal regulations.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher) from an accredited program
• Current Texas OT license; NBCOT certification preferred
• School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and ADA in educational settings
• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with the ARD/IEP team
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in individual, group, and classroom settings
