Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract in Ada, Oklahoma. The Day shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and the OTA will deliver rehabilitative services under OT supervision.

Responsibilities include ADL retraining, therapy administration, progress assessment, and accurate documentation. You may participate in care conferences and supervise students as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OTA experience in LTC or rehabilitation settings.
• Current COTA license is required.
• Active State Licensure/Registration in Oklahoma when applicable.

• Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.

• Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding cognitive and physical disorders.
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders. This role involves utilizing evidence-based practices under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, administering various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
