Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility in Duncan, OK. This day-shift position runs for 13 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 60-minute lunch.

The therapist will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to help patients perform daily activities, while engaging with an interdisciplinary team and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Active Occupational Therapy license (OK or compact license required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Other specialized certifications such as Manual Therapy are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing patients' ability to perform daily living activities.
• Participate in patient education and family support initiatives.
• Utilize appropriate therapy modalities and adaptive equipment as needed.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) setting. The candidate will participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and may float to Acute Care services to assist with patient care. The role requires interaction with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
