Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required for employment with VA.
• Bachelor's degree in OT with 2 years of experience or 2 years of graduate education; or a Master's degree in OT.
• Current NBCOT certification as an OT is required.
• Full, current, unrestricted state licensure to practice OT.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions and procedures with routine complexity.
• Assess activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living to enhance safety and performance.
• Collaborate with HUD-VASH and other VA stakeholders to support housing transition goals.
• Utilize standardized and non-standardized evaluation tools for comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and adapt treatment plans and activities to meet patient needs.
