Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks an Occupational Therapist for the Early Intervention Program on a per-visit basis in Bordentown/Browns Mills. The OT will assess and treat children, document plans of care, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program.
• Current licensure in New Jersey.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile registration and proof of insurance for home care/early intervention staff.

Responsibilities

• Consult with medical and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
• Demonstrate comprehensive evaluation skills and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Complete evaluations, patient records, and all documentation in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Utilize aides and other support staff effectively.
• Educate patients and families, providing information tailored to age, condition, and culture.
