Job summary

Long Island Power Authority is seeking an IT Senior Analyst for OT/ICS cybersecurity. You will oversee ICS/SCADA environments, identify vulnerabilities, monitor security events, and support incident response to protect critical infrastructure.

You will work with engineering, IT, operations, and compliance teams to strengthen cybersecurity across OT while maintaining safety, availability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT/Engineering/CS or equivalent experience.
• Five years of cybersecurity/OT/ICS experience in critical infrastructure.
• Experience with threat intelligence, risk assessments, and incident response.
• At least one certification: CISSP, GIAC GICSP, Security+, or ISA/IEC 62443.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OT/ICS security and SCADA environments for cyber threats.
• Analyze alerts, incidents, and perform vulnerability reviews.
• Support incident response and technical investigations in OT.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and compliance teams to enforce controls.
• Assist in OT cybersecurity policy reviews and testing with minimal downtime.
