Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity-focused professional to coordinate and implement digital solutions in industrial environments.

The role emphasizes onboarding of digital platforms, collaboration with sales and technical teams, and ongoing customer training to ensure successful adoption and long-term operation. Candidates should have extensive cybersecurity experience, especially in OT/industrial contexts, with knowledge of Modbus/OPC and IEC 62443.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in industrial automation or OT environments
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in industrial automation or OT environments (preferred)
• Strong understanding of IC C/SCADA systems, network protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.), and industrial communication standards.
• Knowledge of OT security best practices and cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO/IEC 2700x)
• Relevant Cybersecurity Certifications are preferred (e.g. CISSP, GIAC, ISA/IEC 62443)
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals including risk assessments, access control, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity of cyber platforms (e.g. AV Solutions, Backup and recovery, Network Monitoring) and patching strategies of OT systems.
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
• Willingness to travel up to 65%
• US Citizen or work authorization to perform work within the US is required.
• Relocation reimbursement is not available

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to customers by helping them apply cybersecurity solutions that enhance the security and resilience of their OT environments.
• Execute and support implementation of cybersecurity solutions, contributing to timely and cost-effective project delivery through effective coordination and technical expertise.
• Provide training and ongoing support to customers throughout the solution lifecycle, from onboarding to post-deployment, to ensure successful adoption and long-term satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how cybersecurity offerings address specific operational challenges
