Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver OT services in skilled nursing facilities. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, manage discharge planning, and ensure high‑quality, compliant care across facilities.

You will supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs, collaborate with facility staff, and participate in Reliant’s continuing education platform and clinical ladder to grow your clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Active state OT license.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients by providing, directing, and/or overseeing occupational therapy.
• Provide consultation and clinical supervision to COTAs.
• Directly supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs in skilled tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Build a strong occupational therapy program.
• Maintain awareness of professional issues and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure infection control procedures and environmental safety.
• Read, write, speak English fluently.
