Job summary

Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents under supervision of an OT. You will assist with evaluations, implement treatment plans, and help residents improve strength and daily living skills.

The role requires an OTA degree and current license/certification; prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is preferred, with strong communication and a resident-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an OTA program is required.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and treatment plans
• Help residents improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
• Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
• Provide encouragement and support to residents and their families
