Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OTA educational program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current California OT Assistant license or license applicant status; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessment under supervision of OTR.
• Communicate with patients adequately and appropriately.
• Complete required documentation.
• Implement treatment plans as delegated by OTR.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans.
