You will support OTs in designing functional interventions to address ADLs, cognition, and safe discharge planning, with a focus on patient independence and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NY State OTA license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures, tests and complex treatments for safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, and collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work for coordinated patient care.
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, and caregiver training.
• Clinical reasoning will be valued and productivity expectations will be realistic.
