TheraDynamics in New Rochelle, NY, is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our SNF team. You will support OTs, design functional interventions, and help patients regain independence after strokes, fractures, or cardiac events.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license
• NBCOT certification (or eligible)
• Passion for helping patients regain independence
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapist in procedures and treatments to ensure safe, effective care
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and social work for coordinated patient care
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety and caregiver training
