Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed or eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility care team. In this role you will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will report to the Director of Rehab and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered environment. We offer growth opportunities, mentorship for new grads, and a fast, streamlined hiring process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain independence.
• Support patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with the care team and refer to specialists as needed.
