Job summary
Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility care teams nationwide. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients regain independence.
You will work under the Director of Rehab, support patient-centered care, and collaborate with therapists, nurses, and staff. We offer mentorship for new grads, continuing education, and visa sponsorship options to qualified applicants.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement OT programs and activities and follow recovery plans to deliver treatments.
- Help patients regain independence and view patients as individuals.
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and staff to coordinate care.
- Support patient-centered care and adapt to different settings and needs.
