Job summary
Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team in a skilled nursing facility. You will work under OT direction to help residents regain function and participate in goal-oriented therapy plans.
You will use EHR and service delivery software to document progress, coordinate with the OT and care team, and support residents’ ongoing independence and safety after discharge.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
- Current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
- OTA license granted from state of employment.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
Responsibilities
- Return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of therapy goals within a SNF setting.
- Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and activity modification.
