Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility to help residents restore independence and achieve therapy goals. You will instruct patients, support discharge planning, and work under the supervision of the OT and DOR in a compassionate team environment.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree, a current OTA license, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college.
• Current and valid OTA license for the state of employment.
• Must hold a current and valid license from the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Return patient to optimal physical function and aid in achieving therapy goals within a SNF setting.
• Educate patients on maintenance of function after discharge and independent exercise.
• Provide guidance under supervision of the Occupational Therapist and Director of Rehabilitation.
