South Bay Cost Acute Care in Chula Vista, CA seeks a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join its in-house therapy team. Competitive hourly pay between $36 and $45 based on experience, with flexible schedule and work-life balance.

Under Occupational Therapist supervision, you will provide rehabilitative treatments, ADL retraining, and progress assessments, contributing to geriatric care across post-acute services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with the supervising Occupational Therapist as required.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
