Job summary

New North Citizens’ Council (NNCC) in Springfield, MA, is seeking a WIOA Out of School Youth Support Specialist. This full-time professional provides outreach, assessment, case management, and support services to youth ages 16–24, connecting them with education, employment, training, and community resources.

The role collaborates with schools, workforce partners, service providers, and public agencies to promote positive outcomes for Springfield youth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience with adolescents or youth programs.
• Experience or training in youth development, outreach, workforce development, or case management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to engage youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, assessment, and case management for youth ages 16–24.
• Greet, screen, and connect participants with services and education resources.
• Maintain participant records and program documentation.
• Collaborate with schools, workforce partners, and service providers.
• Travel to multiple locations for outreach and meetings.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with program requirements.
