Job summary

Hopkins Public Schools is seeking an OST Activity Supervisor (OAS) to implement program philosophy, ensure a safe, engaging after-school environment, and develop enrichment curriculum that reflects diverse cultures.

You will supervise activity assistants and volunteers, plan field trips and events, coordinate staffing, and maintain accurate records while upholding DHS/MNSACA standards in a CCAP-certified setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and children.
• Knowledge of developmental needs of children.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required or within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Support mission to provide a fun, safe enriching experience in a respectful environment.
• Lead curriculum development and schedule planning for before/after school care and field trips.
• Coordinate staff, volunteers, and substitutes; ensure ratio requirements and safety.
