Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an OSS & Automation Architect to bridge business stakeholders and the OSS engineering team. You will shape FRs/NFRs, performance, and automation requirements for the next generation OSS platform.

Ideal candidates combine business process analysis with deep OSS domain knowledge, and can define governance rules, design integration points (ERP, CRM, Jira), and lead automation initiatives across fault, performance, and configuration management.

Qualifications

• Deep OSS functions knowledge and integration with enterprise IT.
• Experience with TM Forum APIs and the eTOM/TAM frameworks.
• Proven ability to elicit, structure, and deliver FRs and NFRs.
• Experience with BPM tooling (Camunda, Airflow, ServiceNow) from design perspective.
• Ability to translate business needs into precise requirements.

Responsibilities

• Represent OSS program to internal customers on-site.
• Capture processes, pain points, and automation opportunities for engineering hand-off.
• Translate business requirements into FRs and NFRs.
• Define automation requirements for OSS workflows (fault, performance, configuration management).
• Identify integration points between OSS and ERP/CRM/Jira.
• Participate in sprint reviews and architecture sessions.
• Maintain documentation and roadmaps of automation opportunities.
