Job summary

Astreya is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer II to oversee fiber network administration, OTDR testing, and GIS-based record maintenance in a Denver, CO environment. You will coordinate with vendors, manage multiple projects, and ensure data integrity across tools and dashboards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in OSP engineering or a related field, with CFOT/OTDR or PMP/CAPM credentials being highly valued. This role offers full-time employment with strong benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years field experience or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Fiber Administration and maintenance of the OSP fiber network.
• OTDR testing analysis to assess fiber integrity and performance.
• GIS-based fiber management and updating construction as-built records.
• Vendor and stakeholder coordination to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Lead and manage multiple projects with progress tracking and milestones.
• Review splice matrices for accuracy and data integrity across systems.
• Organize meetings and provide mentorship to team members.
• Proficiency with multiple fiber software tools and data platforms.
• Create and maintain MOPs, SOWs, SOPs, and related documentation.
