Job summary

Broadstaff is seeking an experienced OSP Field Inspector / OSP Construction Coordinator to support a fiber deployment project in and around La Center, WA. This role involves field inspections, documenting progress, and coordinating with construction crews on-site.

The ideal candidate will read construction drawings, monitor contractor production, capture field data, and provide timely reports. Local candidates with a valid driver's license are preferred; occasional travel and mileage

Qualifications

• Experience in OSP telecom construction, utility construction, or fiber deployment.
• Ability to read construction drawings, maps, permits, and redlines.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience tracking construction progress and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of underground and aerial fiber construction projects
• Monitor contractor production and provide daily status reporting
• Capture photos, measurements, and field documentation
• Update redlines and support as-built documentation efforts
• Verify construction methods and document field changes
• Provide real-time communication and updates to internal OSP teams
• Identify and escalate project issues when necessary
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to active construction sites
