Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support OSP fiber projects across hybrid sites in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA. You will ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery while working with engineers, contractors, and project managers.

The role requires 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, knowledge of GPON/FTTx, and travel capability (30-40%). A related bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) is a plus.
• Knowledge of underground, buried, and aerial fiber construction; engineering prints and specs.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Ops and contractors to plan, execute, and restore projects.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation to invoicing and completion.
• Ensure timelines, scope, and standards are met; monitor safety and quality.
• Review prints and specs; provide field feedback to improve designs.
• Approve contractor invoices and support vendor performance oversight.
