Ziply Fiber is seeking a Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering in Washington. The role leads an OSP Engineering team, ensuring design quality, budget adherence and on-time delivery.

You will manage staffing, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and ensure compliance with standards and permits across jurisdictions. You will collaborate with multiple departments to align projects with company goals, supervise work orders, and guide engineers through complex permitting processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six (6) years of outside plant (OSP) experience, including quoting, permitting and pre-construction activities.
• Developed leadership skills with ability to mentor and lead others.
• Experience using fiber optic network documentation tools.
• Advanced understanding of permitting processes for railroad, DOT, cities, counties, and pole owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team and provide mentorship.
• Oversee staffing, schedules and compliance for OSP engineering and construction activities.
• Oversee production of engineering work orders and ensure compliance with standards and budgets.
• Identify permitting authorities and oversee permit applications.
