Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. seeks an OSP Construction Manager to oversee design, permitting, material acquisition, construction and tie-in of outside plant projects in Texas. You will generate CAD prints, cost estimates, inspections and reconcile invoices while maintaining cost, quality and schedule goals.

The role requires coordinating with permitting agencies, building owners, contractors and SSP/NOC teams. Field and office work are balanced, with extensive design review and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Experience obtaining permits and easements for construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate with city, county and state permitting agencies.
• Skilled in reading construction prints, splicing diagrams and OTDR results.
• Experience monitoring field and office project progress and reporting.
• Familiar with cost estimates, inspections and invoice reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering design prints for accuracy and buildability, including permits and right-of-way.
• Communicate with permitting agencies and building owners for access approvals.
• Monitor contractor progress, quality inspections, and timely completion of projects.
• Coordinate with Broadband implementation and NOC for project success.
• Issue MOPS and ensure SSP and NOC alignment with service levels.
• Read and interpret construction documents and OTDR results; prepare reports.
