Job summary

VistaCare in Oshkosh, WI is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives in a supportive community setting.

You will provide daily living support, implement ISPs and BSPs, assist with medication logging in EHR, support community engagement, and help maintain a safe, welcoming home environment. Full-time and part-time schedules with day, evening, and weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Background Check: Must pass a caregiver background check.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal prep.
• Plan Implementation: carry out ISPs and BSPs.
• Medication & Logging: safely administer medications and maintain daily notes in EHR.
• Community Engagement: encourage independence, self-advocacy, and recreation.
• Environment: maintain a clean, safe, and positive living area.
