Job summary

Innovative Care Services in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide essential daily living support to clients in their homes. This part-time position offers shifts primarily in the PM, with every other weekend off.

The ideal candidate will assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and medication administration, providing compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Comprehensive training is offered, making this role accessible to new caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Caregiver experience is a plus but not required—comprehensive paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential daily living support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Accompany clients to doctor appointments.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation.
