Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks an Assistant Director for OSHA Education Center Operations to lead the daily operations of the OSHA Training Education Center, ensure policy compliance, and drive program performance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with partners across the public and private sectors to deliver high-quality safety education and workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Public Safety Administration, Emergency Management, Education, Workforce Development, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages all operational functions of the OSHA Training Education Center, ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards.
• Provides comprehensive operational leadership for course scheduling, instructor assignments, registration, training delivery, and logistics.
• Develops and maintains relationships with federal, state, local, and private-sector workforce partners.
• Monitors program performance and implements process improvements to increase effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Tracks departmental revenues, expenditures, budgets, and financial performance.
