Job summary

Northampton Community College is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the OSHA Training Education Center's operations. You will ensure compliance, schedule courses, assign instructors, manage registrations, and deliver high-quality training and customer service.

Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will monitor performance, finances, and program quality while driving improvements and enrollment growth across the Lehigh Valley region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Public Safety Administration, Emergency Management, Education, Workforce Development, Business Administration, or a closely related field — required.
• Minimum of five years in workforce development, occupational safety training, or related field with program leadership experience.
• Experience managing training operations, staff, instructors, and client relationships.
• Must possess certifications to instruct OSHA Outreach Trainer courses (OSHA 500/501 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Oversees all operational functions of the OSHA Training Education Center.
• Manages course scheduling, instructor assignments, registration, training delivery, and logistics.
• Represents the department at meetings, trade shows, conferences, and community events.
• Tracks departmental revenues, expenditures, budgets, and financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, reporting requirements, and quality standards.
