Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking a Safety Specialist to administer and improve our environmental, health, and safety programs. You will ensure OSHA compliance, maintain logs, and lead safety training for the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role includes developing safety initiatives, coordinating with Maintenance and HR, and promoting a culture of safety and food safety across the facility. Friday–Sunday shifts apply, with a flex schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in safety/health or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in workplace health and safety programs.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE, and safety engineering.
• Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements safety programs such as lockout/tagout and machine guarding.
• Advises on safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA).
• Maintains OSHA logs and regulatory documentation.
• Conducts routine safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Facilitates safety committee meetings and trainings.
• Coordinates safety training and certifications (First Aid/CPR, forklift).
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; leads root-cause analysis.
