Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years of experience in occupational safety or industrial hygiene programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required (or to be obtained within six months).

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic safety inspections of shop, yard, building, work zones, equipment, and environments to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform unannounced Work Zone inspections and verify PPE usage and on-site documentation.
• Instruct and facilitate safety training (CPR/First Aid, Flagger, Fall Protection, Excavation and Trenching).
• Investigate employee injuries and vehicle/equipment accidents; prepare OSHA 300/300s and risk management data entries.
