Responsibilities

• Support, collaborate and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety and health compliance requirements
• Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues, creating programmatic opportunities to address risk, including training, policies, and processes
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies, defend our practices within appropriate boundaries, and influence policy development
• Handle all aspects of litigation related to workplace safety and discrimination matters per OSHA regulations
• Represent clients in negotiations and mediations
• Provide crisis management to clients dealing with workplace safety and health matters

Skills and Educational Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials
• 3+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required
• Class action or public sector experience a plus
• Admitted to practice law in the State Bar of the associate’s primary office
• Attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
