West Fraser is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a team in our OSB manufacturing plant. You will coach the production crew, enforce safety programs, and drive quality improvements while coordinating with engineering and maintenance to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in OSB manufacturing or wood products.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, collaborative leadership with a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computers required.

Responsibilities

• Coach production staff with hands-on engagement to foster growth and development.
• Promote safety programs and ensure SSOP compliance.
• Drive quality improvements, reduce waste, audit finished goods, and prepare for warehouse transfer.
• Maintain workflow, set process variables, assign priorities, and report shift results.
• Delegate tasks, develop SOPs and training, and manage payroll for production operators.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to identify problems and implement improvements.
