Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Gladys, VA seeks a Production Supervisor (Team Leader) to lead a wood products production team in a safe, continuous manufacturing environment. You will coach, develop strong teams, ensure product quality and drive production improvements.

The role requires supervisory experience in industrial settings, proficiency with MS Word and Excel, and a focus on EHS and quality. Bachelor's degree preferred; OSB knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment with HR, EHS, quality understanding.
• Proficient in MS Word for reports and MS Excel for data analysis and graphs.
• Experience coaching, counseling, and developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead a wood products production team to work injury-free in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate production efforts to improve processes in EHS, quality, reliability, and costs.
• Facilitate team development, communication, problem solving, and ownership.
• Establish roles and expectations for direct reports with coaching and feedback.
• Drive cultural change to promote ownership of the facility by team members (10–15 people).
• Support rotating day/night/weekend/holiday shift schedules.
