Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering field.
• 1–3 years of experience in OS certification, Linux platform validation, or system QA testing.
• Good foundational knowledge of server architecture, Linux operating systems, BIOS/UEFI settings, device drivers, and hardware interfaces.
• Networking: configuring and diagnosing network interfaces, PXE boot, and core protocols.
• Experience writing or modifying automation scripts using Python or Shell.

Responsibilities

• OS Certification Execution: Run official Linux certification test suites on server platforms.
• Platform Validation: Validate system images, drivers, kernel patches, and firmware for hardware interoperability.
• Network & Driver Validation: Test server networking stacks, NICs, and protocol compatibility.
• Debugging & Log Analysis: Review system and kernel logs and coordinate findings with engineering teams.
• Automation Support: Use and maintain automated test scripts to streamline deployment and certification testing pipelines.
