Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a fabrication-focused technician to work in a small workshop, fabricating and repairing orthotic and prosthetic devices.

You will use hand tools and lab equipment, under clinician guidance, while maintaining inventory and delivering prefabricated orthoses as needed. The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, patient interaction away from the exam room, and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record per policy.
• Technical training school or 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Order, receive, and manage inventory as assigned.
• May fit and deliver prefabricated orthoses like cervical devices.
• Educate patients on application, use, care, and outcomes per physician instructions.
