Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide patient-centered care during 12-hour day shifts. You'll support daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA is preferred.
• If ND and not a CNA, must be on the North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.
• If WI, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and meal prep.
• Administer delegated tasks and treatments; record vital signs and other health information.
• Will collect non-invasive biological specimens as needed and perform related clerical scheduling duties.
• Prepare patient treatment areas, clean equipment, and dispose of biomedical waste per standards.
• Provide one-on-one care to patients when necessary under supervision of RN or LPN.
