Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the Fairfield and New Haven County CT territory within the MedTech Sales – Orthopaedics domain. The role centers on building surgeon and account relationships, driving product sales, and delivering clinical value across DePuy Synthes, Mitek Sports Medicine, and related orthopaedic portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or medical certification with related experience.
• Experience in sales or clinical environments preferred.
• Comfort working in a lab/operating room setting and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts in the territory.
• Develop and implement surgeon-specific plans and selling strategies.
• Achieve sales goals through approved resources and product knowledge.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR personnel, and buyers.
• Support surgeons during procedures and provide post-sale follow-up.
• Manage territory inventory and promotional materials per policy.
• Promote new products and maintain balanced product mix.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience or

Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 5 years of professional and/or related experience or

Minimum of 8 years of professional and/or related experience or

Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty + minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience
