Qualifications

• Successful completion of Medical Assistant Certificate program with relevant front and back office experience.
• 0-6 months related experience.
• Bilingual - Spanish (preferred).
• American Heart Association recognized BLS - Heartsaver certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and inputs data in computer system and records vital signs.
• Prepares rooms with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other direct patient care.
• Maintains accurate and confidential patient medical records and ensures infection control procedures.
