Job summary

Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our patient-centered team. The MA-C will work under licensed practitioners, manage patient flow, take vital signs, assist exams, draw blood, administer medications per state regulations, and relay information to families.

Qualifications

• MA-C certification is required or preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist patients preparing for exams or treatments, venipuncture when needed
• Administer medications per Washington state DOH regulations
• Relate instructions to patients and families/caregivers
• Handle sending/receiving patient records and referrals
• Prepare forms for patients
