Job summary

Texas Orthopedics is seeking an X-ray Technologist Team Lead to support the X-ray team across the South Austin clinic. You will serve as Radiation Safety Officer, perform routine QA, and work as a practicing X-ray tech to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities include training new hires, assisting with interviewing, and maintaining regulatory compliance while supporting physicians and staff in delivering efficient radiology services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; ARRT or LMRT certification preferred.
• One year health care setting experience; orthopedics preferred.
• Radiological Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QA checks for imaging positioning and X-ray techs.
• Assist with policies, procedures, and training for X-ray staff.
• Oversee Radiation Safety and ensure regulatory compliance across the clinic.
• Provide coverage as a working X-ray tech and assist in patient care.
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and process radiology images.
• Send x-rays to PACS for reading and interpretation.
• Maintain and inspect radiology equipment and restock supplies.
• Support clinic workflow and coordinate with physicians and staff.
