Job summary

Texas Orthopedics is seeking a Radiologist Team Lead for the South Austin clinic to oversee Radiation Safety and support X-ray Technologists. The role includes hands-on radiography, QA checks, image processing, and ensuring safe patient care under regulatory standards.

Travel to other locations for coverage is required; strong training and leadership skills are essential to manage staff and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ARRT/LMRT certification preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting; radiology knowledge and OSHA familiarity.
• Ability to train staff and participate in hiring and coverage planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist Directors of Patient Services and Office Managers in supporting X-ray Techs.
• Oversee Radiation Safety and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform routine QA checks for radiography and image quality.
• Serve as working X-ray Tech and provide coverage as needed.
• Train new hires and participate in staff interviews.
• Ensure PACS image handling and proper radiology workflow.
