Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a Division of OrthoLonestar, is seeking a radiology technologist to perform x‑rays under physician orders in a clinic setting. You will prepare patients, process images, and ensure patient safety, while maintaining equipment and complying with OSHA standards.

Requirements include High School diploma or GED, ARRT or LMRT certification (ARRT preferred), and at least one year of healthcare experience. Local Texas licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and ARRT/LMRT certification; ARRT preferred.
• One year experience in a health care setting; orthopedics preferred.
• Familiar with radiology guidelines and patient safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Takes x‑rays following physician orders and established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Prepares patients for radiological procedures and processes radiology images.
• Sends x-rays to PACS for reading and interpretation and maintains equipment in good operating condition.
• Maintains supplies and complies with OSHA regulations; assists with patient flow through clinic.
• Adheres to doctor’s guidelines and supports clinic operations as needed.
