Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.
• National certification as PA or NP.
• Active California license or eligibility to practice medicine in California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with orthopedic trauma injuries.
• Provide inpatient care, including preoperative and postoperative management.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor recovery.
• Assist orthopedic surgeons with surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Perform inpatient rounds and coordinate care with nursing staff and other specialists.
• Provide outpatient follow-up, assess healing, and support rehabilitation planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, and follow-up care.

Education
