The role involves inpatient surgical care, outpatient clinic follow-up, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to contribute to program development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board certification or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of Orthopedic Surgery Residency with a Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma.
• Active or eligible California medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
• Participate in inpatient rounding, consults, surgical interventions, and postoperative care.
• Conduct follow-up care in the orthopedic trauma clinic.
• Engage in quality improvement and contribute to program development.

We are seeking a Board-Certifiedor Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our high-performing OrthopedicTrauma Program in San Jose, CA. Located within a busy Level II Trauma Center,our program processes approximately 600 trauma cases annually, offering achallenging and rewarding environment for dedicated trauma surgeons.

Position Highlights:

• Trauma Level: II
• Case Volume: ~600 orthopedictrauma cases per year
• Practice Setting: Inpatientsurgical care and outpatient clinic follow-up

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert surgical care for orthopedictrauma patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsto ensure comprehensive treatment plans
• Participate in inpatient rounding,consults, surgical interventions, and post-op care
• Conduct follow-up care in the orthopedictrauma clinic
• Engage in quality improvement andcontribute to program development alongside VMC

Qualifications:
