Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire.
• Preferred qualifications include orthopedic tech training or CMA/OTC certifications.
• Experience with EMR systems is favored.

Responsibilities

• Enter medical equipment appointments and manage DME orders.
• Perform splinting and casting under supervision of physicians.
• Educate patients on medical appliances and equipment.
• Document care in electronic medical records and maintain stock.
• Assist with patient positioning, dressing changes, and minor procedures.
• Train and evaluate orthopedic technicians and residents.
