Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technician program, and certification. Two+ years in ORTHO and ambulatory center experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification in Surgical Technician.
• Experience 2+ years in ORTHO.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures.
• Supports quality improvement activities.
