Job summary

Timberlake-Surgery-Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center in Chesterfield, MO. The role requires CST certification or eligibility, and typically 1–2 years of operating room experience, with CPR/BLS training.

On-site, Monday–Friday schedule with a competitive benefits package. Candidates should be prepared to assist in sterile setup, instrument handling, and room turnover, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification, or grandfathered in per state regulations.
• Prefer 1–2 years clinical OR experience; may accept 0–2 years in related field.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for procedures.
• Sets up sterile field and ensures sterile drapes and instruments are ready.
• Assists with prep for patient procedures and positioning.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assists with maintaining counts of sponges and needles.
• Cleans and restocks the procedure room and participates in quality testing related to sterilization.
