Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Surgery Scheduler to coordinate orthopedic procedures. You will act as the connection between patients, surgeons, clinical teams, and facilities, ensuring dates, requirements, and resources are aligned.

The role emphasizes proactive scheduling, patient communication, and seamless coordination across preop, OR, and postop activities to support excellent patient experiences.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in surgery scheduling, medical scheduling, or a related healthcare administrative position preferred.
• Previous orthopedic surgery scheduling experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, surgical authorizations, and preoperative requirements.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and medical scheduling systems.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems efficiently.

• Own the scheduling process: Coordinate orthopedic surgeries with physicians, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers, ensuring dates and resources align.
• Guide patients through their surgical journey with clear timelines and compassionate communication.
